"Chris of Real Cozy Air provides extraordinary state-of-the-art service. At 68, I have dealt with many service providers of various sorts over the years, but Chris is a cut above.
Prompt response: I called at approximately 6:30 AM regarding a failure of my A/C external blower unit. Within 30 - 45 minutes Chris arrived at my door.
Clean: Chris put cloth "booties" over his shoes prior to entering my house.
Personality: Chris is a motivated, eager person who has a passion for his work. He is extremely personable and is easy to talk to. His eyes light up, and I can tell he has a smile behind that mask.
Knowledgeable: Chris has studied all aspects of air conditioning repair extensively. He possesses a wealth of knowledge regarding my air conditioning unit, my home insulation, and answered a host of questions I had regarding possible future upgrades and replacements, should components fail in the future.
Quick diagnosis: Chris swiftly ascertained that I had a faulty capacitor unit. He said that when peripheral components fail, it is usually due to a faulty major component (in this case the motor). Chris showed me how the motor was leaking oil - not a good sign in any type of motor. He advised that the motor be replaced and left it up to me - a new capacitor would do the trick in the short term. I wanted a complete fix, though, so I opted for both capacitor and motor.
Workaround: Chris needed to order parts to complete the repair -- both the capacitor and motor. But I didn't have to wait for parts for service restoration, as I always have in the past when working with other service providers. Chris installed a smaller, temporary capacitor to restore my A/C, so I could enjoy a cool environment in 100+ degree heat while awaiting parts and completion of the repair - unprecedented consideration and service.
Ethics: Chris does not upsell. Chris is responsive to the residential owner. He does not give preferential treatment to industrial properties at the expense of the "little guy." Like Chris told me, "I've got your back."
Detail consciousness: Chris pays attention to all details of a situation and thoroughly examines every aspect of an air conditioning set-up, both inside and outside. He takes pictures and videos to add to a clients file, so he has details of an installation at hand for future reference.
Chris offers options: Chris made me aware that a third-party motor for $100 less than the manufacturer's original part was available. And, that it was in no way inferior to the original. I have never been given this option before when it comes to home repairs. Chris does the customer a great service with such cost-containing suggestions.
Conclusion: One visit is all it took. I consider myself to now be a customer of Real Cozy Air. I wholehearted endorse Chris and his company for all air conditioning/heating/insulation/home cooling needs."
